*Essential Health Related Services for your Pet*
  • Nail Trimming and Filing: This is very important in the health of your pets joints and ligaments. If nails are left too long it can cause your pet to walk awkwardly, therefore putting a great deal of stress on their on their bones. Keeping nails trimmed on a regular basis will assure fluid movement in your pets joints and can play a detrimental role in the comfort of older, arthritic dogs. This service is included with all grooming and if performed as a single service is $5.
  • Anal Glands: Generally only need to be done on smaller breeds of dogs, with occasional exceptions. Its imperative that these glands are expressed on a regular basis to prevent discomfort and possibly infection. Signs that your pets anal glands might be full include scooting, a swollen anus, or a foul, fish like smell coming from their rear. This service is included in all grooming and if performed as a single service is $5.
  • Ear Cleaning : Extremely important in all dogs. Regular cleaning prevents dirty, foul smelling ears and infections. Particular breeds, (usually long hair), such as Poodles, Shih Tzu's, Lhasa Apso's, Airedales, Schnauzers, Yorkshire Terriers, etc., have hair in their ear canals that needs to be removed on a regular basis to prevent severe infection. If unattended, this hair can burrow down into your pets ear and possibly threaten their life. This service is included in all grooming and if performed as a single service is $5.

  • Teeth Brushing: Gingivitis and unhealthy teeth can be just as uncomfortable for your pet as it can be for you. Regular teeth brushing assures good breath and can also help prevent the loss of teeth in older pets. Its recommended to have your pets teeth scaled 1-2 times a year. *Comfort-Related But Not Essential Services For Your Pet*
 

  • Conditioning and Cream Rinses: Important in keeping your pets skin healthy and flake free as well as a beautiful coat. Also prevents matting in long coated pets. Due to the year-round dryness in this area, I include this as a free service on all grooming

  • Paw and Nose Treatments: This is a treatment where your pet soaks its paws and nose for 10-15 minutes in a hydrating mask made specifically for face and feet. When finished, these areas are rubbed down with a thick balm to help heal the cracked areas. This service is an additional $5.

*Luxury-Pampering Services For Your Pet*

 
  • Nail Painting: Only for the most spoiled pets! A great service for those of you who like to take their pets to the next level! Fun for holidays or special events. Your pooch can enjoy a plain color or a French manicure!
  • Hair Dying: This service is performed with an all natural, animal-safe hair dye. Dye the whole dog or just the tail. Its up to you. Fun for everyone including the dog. Your pet will never have gotten so much attention!. This service works best on white or light coated dogs. See Pixie below as a good example!
